Welcome to the desert! I second nonot's comment on the ridgeline hike. It is much more enjoyable as a dayhike. There is no water on the route unless there has been recent rains. Glad to hear you are concerned about water. While lone tree point is a beautiful place to camp, it will be a dry camp. And...
