Actually a third one as of this morning. All three within a few miles of each other. Last I heard, the forest is closed as of last week due to extreme fire danger from Payson to the Rim. I drove to the Mt Peeley TH today. The road is rugged but was fine with no problems, but I have a large SUV. Temp at 1pm was a brisk 38 degrees and partly cloudy. Sunrise hike
Does anyone know of a good spot to watch the sun rise that is less than an hour from Payson? Looking to do this over the Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks in advance.
