Re: Black Canyon Trail (BCT) north of Bumble Bee
Thanks, Joe, for linking the tracks in the mapped area and listing all hikes south to north in a box with each description. Looks great and is helpful. I hope to add some more descriptions this month before it gets too hot. The trail should be completely built by now. There was a completion celebrat...

Re: GPSjoe-Joe Domin (Shared Good Memories)
I was shocked to hear GPSJoe was missing when it was posted on this website back in November. I met Joe last year when he and Hank invited me on one of their hikes - the famous 5/28/10 Reyolds Creek Trail trip. In addition, we hiked together another time in Prescott and a number of times during Hank...

The trail that has been built going to Mayer from Government Springs crosses that wash and heads east. We followed it about a mile to the gas pipeline access road. It continued NE from there so unfortunately it doesn't follow the wash NW along Crown King Road.

Black Canyon Trail (BCT) north of Bumble Bee
Tom and I had finished the Black Canyon Trail (BCT) as far north as Hidden Treasure Mine/Government Spring a couple of weeks ago. We knew it didn't go much further at that point, but I had found a newspaper article from Jan 2010 that said the BLM had received $432,400 of stimulus money to be used to...

Re: Mormon Grove Trailhead
I drove to Mormon Grove Trailhead on 03/24/2010 in my 10 yr old Lincoln Navigator. The road was OK. I wouldn't recommend taking a sedan there as there are a number of rocky spots and a couple where high clearance provides a margin of safety.
