It's about due for another visit by maintenance crews. Drove to Rogers trailhead today in a 4WD short wheelbase pickup. Really ragged surface, especially the last few miles past Woodward up to Rogers.

There is parking (basically a new trailhead) on Peralta road.

I'm an old geezer to most of you (67 last week) and new to hiking. Without cairns I'd have several times have been the object of a SAR incident. Maybe I should stick to city sidewalks?
