While driving to work one day by the golf course in Payson, we had to stop because two huge bull Elk decided to battle in the middle of the road.. pushing each other back and forth so that we couldn't get around.. finally one pushed really hard and we zoomed around them...

I have done a moonlight hike a couple of time on both BA and S. Kaibab and prefer S. Kaibab.. you don't have to creep on past the people camping at Indian Gardens and the light is more on the S. They have issued a "Set" condition for the people of Moqui Ranchettes on the Northeast corner of our community north of us.. this is the new Evac system Ready, Set, Go for emergencies. With the winds being bad today will have to see..

Still waiting for info from the Coconino county but from a news 10 helicopter was able to snatch an image of the cabin and is still standing.. but could still have some damage ... some of the other satellite subdivisions in the area are getting their power turned back on but in Clear Creek Pines 9 ...

Oh and also was supposed to be the Kinder Fire since it started closer to Kinder Crossing... someone goofed and spread it as the Tinder fire...

My cabin is in the fire burned area waiting to hear if it is damaged or not.. there are about 20-30 structures gone in the Clear Creek Pine 9 area... watched the briefing last night and was up to 11,000 acres this morning with no containment... Our neighbors across the way 2 of them have burned down...
