Judging from the map of the area, you might want to pack some water and bring a H2O purifier in case. We (3 of us and a dog) are also doing overnight backpacking on the Barnhardt trail and making a loop with the Y Bar trail via connecting with the Mazatzal Divide. I'm wondering the same thing too...I'm planning a group backpacking trip to Bluff Springs in 2 weeks. I would probably say yes and take water in with you to be safe. That's what I'm planning to do.

Most user-friendly way into Charlebois Springs?
Which is the most user-friendly way into Charlebois Springs? I'm trying to plan a group backpacking trip to the area and don't want to make it extremely hard on people's knees and bushwack the entire time.
