Re: Overnight Hike at Barnhardt

Judging from the map of the area, you might want to pack some water and bring a H2O purifier in case. We (3 of us and a dog) are also doing overnight backpacking on the Barnhardt trail and making a loop with the Y Bar trail via connecting with the Mazatzal Divide. Does anybody have any idea of which...

Re: Water in the Superstitions?

I'm wondering the same thing too...I'm planning a group backpacking trip to Bluff Springs in 2 weeks. I would probably say yes and take water in with you to be safe. That's what I'm planning to do.

Hmmm...stagnant smelly water. Sounds great for a bunch of dogs instead of people. Oh well, I guess this one is probably better for a later date after a boatload of rain.

Thanks to all for your input,

Most user-friendly way into Charlebois Springs?

Which is the most user-friendly way into Charlebois Springs? I'm trying to plan a group backpacking trip to the area and don't want to make it extremely hard on people's knees and bushwack the entire time.

Thanks,

Need most recent info on Hackberry Springs Trail and Water

Does anyone know the latest condition of the Hackberry Springs trail and is there any water there? I'm trying to get info ready asap for a group hike this coming weekend...

Thanks,
winychin
