I still want to hike this trail, so I'm game when anyone else is.

Weather conditions are looking bad. Severe thunder storms and rain predicted along with flash flood warnings in the local area. Might not be a good weekend to go...going to check the reports one more time in the morning, but I might be bugging out.

We would like to leave town by 5:30 or 6:00. That puts us at the trail head at 7:30 or 8:00. Would rather be there at 7:30 but you know how things go.

A few friends and I are heading up early Saturday and are planning to be back in the valley by threeish (wedding to attend). If anyone wants to join in please feel free. I might be interested, have to see what the plans are for that weekend. Might try to find something that takes me a couple days. I will keep you posted.

Hey, you mind if a new guy joins you? Just joined this club. I was suppposed to be backpacking through aravaipa canyon this weekend but the threat of monsoons scared off my hiking partner. I would love to get some sort of hike in.
