Funny enough, the hippies usually aren't too rabidly anti-gun over there.
So all you hippies here raise your hand and give a wave.... :y:

I'm not old enough to be a hippie, but I am having flashbacks. That's my wave ABO :STP: PHX

Probably not, they usually only allow gas during the restrictions

Re: Biotite stove

I have a volcano, also. It works very well. This is just a more mobile option.

I saw your name on the smart car forums, talking with your buddy, packsmart, but I wasn't going to say anything about that :o

Biotite stove

I have had mine a little over a month. It works as good as my jetboil, but it doesn't need any special fuel. It can also charge USB devices. It converts the heat into electricity.

Just thought I would share.

Re: Coke ovens area - CLOSED

From what I know, the owner has placed signs and fences around the ovens. The owner lives out of state, so the signs and fences that get vandalized, do not get repaired. This has been happening for years. In regards to the RR tracks, nearby. Do the the trespassing laws apply to tracks that are no lo...

I have come across another cave, up near Knoll lake. I know the vicinity by studying topos and aerial photos, just haven't been up there to explore it, yet.

We took the same road out, and didnt try to cross the Gila. Although, it did look pretty low that day.

I spotted 5 big horn sheep on the way to the kilns. To me, that was the highlight of the trip.

Here is mine going down the waterfall, on my way into Box canyon. When were you out there? I've been back and forth through Box Canyon a half dozen times in the last month-and-a-half and it was a piece of cake going up and down there. It could be there were plenty of rocks filling the low spots tha...

Re: Redman Cave

Thats kinda how I felt about posting the location of Redman. Its been hard for me to find the locations of caves around AZ and I think that is what others should have to go through. The locations are out there, but it takes research and sometimes several visits to the area to find the caves. If I kn...
