Has anyone recently hiked the Crest trail in the Chirachua Mtns to Anita Park/ Anita Springs? I would love to spend an overnight again,but wondered what the fire damage was like and if the spring was still reliable.

We are planning a backpack for next weekend December 14/15 on the Coffee Flat trail to around Reed's Water.
The last time I was there we did find water.
I was just following up if anyone has been there recently and can report.

We are planning a trip to the Gila next weekend. We are staying at the Gila Hot Springs Ranch which is near the Gila Cliff Dwellings.
I do know that the Cliff Dwellings are affected by the NPS shut down, but does any one know any thing else. Are trails still open?
