Re: Grand Falls
Damn. Thanks for the quick response. I'll keep an eye on it in case it gets some flash flooding or what not.

Re: Aravaipa East Entrance
UPDATE:
We made it just fine in the Outback. Had to muscle through some loose stuff, but no big issues. We parked at the trailhead and hiked 3.5 miles to a good spot. Day hiked the rest of the day on day 2. Great trip overall.

Aravaipa East Entrance
We are doing this hike soon and I am curious about the condition of the east entrance road. I've heard a high clearance vehicle is required. I have a Subaru Outback with AWD and pretty decent clearance (better than some SUVS because of the short wheelbase). Does anyone know if that will get us to th...

Hike in Globe area like Paria, but shorter
I heard there is a nice slot canyon system near Globe that is good for a 2-3 day hike. Anyone know the system. Anyone done it? Will gladly send responders invites to the hike when we go.

Re: Lake Powell day hike
Thanks, Al. I'll check that out. Rob - Nothing too remote. We've got Seadoos to venture away from the boat, so I am not too concerned with getting places, but I don't want to get too far off the lake. I don't mind a technical hike, as long as it isn't a full on day trip. The hike is more of a way fo...

Lake Powell day hike
Anyone have any recommendations for day hikes near LP? We've got a house boat for Memorial Day weekend out of Wahweep and want something to charge while we're up there. I've look at West Rim Glen. Any others? Isn't there a natural bridge around there?

Dude, enjoy. We did it this time last year (Whitehouse to Lee's Ferry). We did it in 4 days, 3 nights. Best trip ever. One day I'll get off my pumpkin and make a video of the trip.

Paria River Canyon
Evening, Ladies and Gents:
We're heading into the Paria River Canyon from White House to Lee's Ferry in April. Has anyone done this hike before? I've read a lot of lit on it and am preparing all of our logistics. Any experience or trail wisdom would be appreciated.
Cheers.
