I guess I wasn't paying attention here, but we went to hike General Springs and FR300 is closed (General Crook) Clover cyn. was open but really hot and no water.

Yep went up 87 and came back late afternoon and at the top of the pass where the brake check area and the FR to MT. Ord is the whole mountain on the east side is a large piece of charcoal.

A few years ago I got on a historical autograph kick. Mainly people of AZ., like General George Crook, Captain John O. Bourke and others associated with the Indian wars. I really wanted Al Seiber and Tom Horn, but to no avail and that was part of it, the hunt. Autographs given by celebs didn't do it...
