Re: Mexican Wolf numbers fall

Baldy areas, and then also over on the San Carlos and WM Apache reservations. Me too!! But i saw this map on some site about Mexican Wolfs and it...

Re: Mexican Wolf numbers fall
I couldn't find it but I was reading a site about the wolves earlier and it showed a map showing that the wolves are allowed to roam basically from the new mexico border to the california border all along the Mogollon Rim and are only required to relocate them if they travel outside of the boundary....

Re: Mexican Wolf numbers fall
The wolves have been traveling far and well outside the range from what i've heard. I've read a few wolves have been spotted near Canyon Creek and one went all the way out to near Chevelon Creek. They definitely are going to travel outside of the recovery area and I wish all the idiots would stop ki...

From what I've read up, bears at elevations of 6,000ft or less (not much snowpack) or bears on mountain ranges on the fringe of the desert such as the sierra ancha's tend to hibernate for a much shorter period of time rather than a bear on top of the mogollan rim or the white mountains.

Are they really calling it off? Thank them for searching but they cant give up yet. Have there been heli's searching the area. If they have,i don't think it'd be to far off to comb the area at night using thermal.

I haven't really read anything on dogs, is there any dogs out there. IT makes sense to me to get an article of clothing of his, and get the dogs on a track near his vehicle. As I explained in my previous post , most Arizona trained Search and Rescue Dogs are Wilderness Airscent dogs, NOT TRAILING D...

Re: Mexican Wolf numbers fall
I was just checking out the wolf report on azgfd and wolf numbers seemed to be on the rise. One of the packs reported 6 pups and an unknown wolf. Another reported 1 pup. Six pups seems like a lot and i hope they make it through the winter and maybe some of them will start a new pack.

Re: Mexican Wolf numbers fall
With 3 alpha males found shot dead recently and another one missing I am pretty sure there are people out there who are determined to eliminate all 23 remaining. I believe the project is in dire straits. I think we are witnessing the beginning of the end of the project, myself. Shot dead?? Wow. Tha...

Re: Are there viruses in AZ stream water?
It really depends on where you are. If i am at a rather known spring or creek i would treat it. But if i see a spring shootin out clear water and is off trail i would drink it and have many times before.

Re: Bears In The News

Something about the bears being extremely aggressive, and someone even shot one in self defense or somethin...
