I've been told you can get someone at Marble Canyon Lodge to shuttle you there and pick you up later when you call them. I haven't checked to verify this, however. But it will be preferable to leaving your vehicle there. Vehicles left there have been broken into in the past. If you call MCL to ask ...

I see that there is a comment on here from 2006 that says that Jackass Canyon trail is not passable. Does anyone have any more recent updates? I'm trying to take a friend from Scotland down there, but don't want to make the drive if we cannot hike it.
