I was there yesterday (2/9/17) and it should be fine for a "real" dog. A dog with short legs might tire out from the rock-hopping.

Neither of them would be good for hiking and here's why: Obama would be all smiles and back-slapping and then, with the smile never leaving his face, he'd take all your food and water (that you just humped out to the campsite) and give it to the people in the group that had neither the inclination ...

@John9L A quick question for you sir, Is it possible to go to Reavis Ranch from Rogers Trough as a one day, there-and-back hike? The distance doesn't seem prohibitive, but is the terrain difficult?
