Sony Cyber-shot cameras have always been decent. I have one now after owning several Cannon cameras and have been happy with it. They are a nice blend of low cost and just enough quality.

I debated doing the TM, but am already doing the Spartan race that is the week before. Two in a row might be a bit much. I am also doing the Mud Factor run this month on the 24th.

So CannondaleKid and I did this hike. It was a really great hike with perfect weather. I am really glad he came along as I probably wouldn't have made the summit by my self.

In general I'd agree with cactuscat so my thoughts would center around... How much of a beginner are you? Have you climbed any steep slopes before? Are you ok with heights/steep slopes? For me Brown's Peak was the first real climb I ever did and I didn't feel it was that big a deal hiking it solo.....
