Close friends with her, and those she was climbing with at the time. Nothing's clear yet about what went wrong, and it may be a while until more details emerge. Tragic 24hrs for us.

What an awesome challenge! I've built up a route from UT to the 40 that's showing about 7% paved... but, I really don't know how reliable that information is (are they all actually unpaved like I'm being told?), nor if all the routes I'd be taking are actually open and legal. Happy to strategize and...

Lower than average dividend this year - most REI purchases waited until sales or discount codes. Snuck in today to take advantage of the end of the 20% window (which I've been enjoying seeing mirrored by places like backcountry.com too...). Still, not going to complain about a dividend to help out w...
