Yeah, in a few months it'll be no problem, but we're not kitted to much below 30.

Good Place to Use New Hammocks
My kids just got new hammocks for Christmas, and I'd love to get them out sometime soon to try them out, but everywhere we would normally go this time of year isn't conducive to hammock camping (IE: Desert with scrub trees).
Any ideas on a (relatively) warm place to sling hammock some weekend?

Sounds like you are both saying the same thing: No running creek but pools. IE: If I spent the night I could find water to drink, but don't plan on babbling brooks.

First Water Creek
I'm going to First water creek (south of canyon lake) next weekend, and I was wondering if anybody has been there recently and could tell me if there was any water in the creek.
