Saw tons of smoke today for the first time in quite a while. Looked like it was coming from Sabino Canyon.

Saw tons of smoke coming from the western side of Ventana Canyon this afternoon.

Webcams from Summerhaven. The camera at the top of Oracle Ridge by the Control Road turnoff shows the fire coming over Red Ridge and up Oracle Ridge. It was gone when I was there on March 7. I don't know how someone would have the energy to start taking down a massive pile of rocks after all of that climbing...

Has it crossed over to the south side of the ridge?

I haven't been out there in a couple years, but it's usually seemed manageable with 2WD unless there's a lot of water. However, the SNP visitor center said that it's gotten much worse over the last 18 months... Has anyone been out there recently?

I only "work out" to get in shape for other hikes, but Pusch and Wrightson are my go-tos depending on the season.

Looks like it got Linda Vista, the nice flat area with the turnoff down across the canyon to Finger Rock, and maybe .5 miles of trail below that point. Just an hour or two ago, I didn't see anything in Finger Rock canyon at all. The few plumes I saw were very small and only in Pontatoc Canyon. The pictures on the second site you posted (the first photo in particular) look like it quite possibly reached all the way over the ridge into FR Canyon, pos...

Does anyone know whether it's reached any of the three trails in the area? It looks like Pontatoc Canyon Trail will be impacted, but I'm not sure about Pontatoc Ridge or Finger Rock. Today after the rains it just looked like a little bit of smoke on he north side of Pontatoc Canyon, but I didn't get...
