Hi there, I am thinking backpacking this Cabin loop over this labor day weekend. Unfortunately no backpacking buddy I found, so should do solo. how difficult is it to find the route? I don't have Garmin GPS or PLB like SPOT or something, but I plan to bring my smartphone with some apps like Route Scout,etc with a printed map of Green Trails Map and a compass. This should be good enough for this 1st solo backpacking in the wilderness in terms of route finding?

So I assume it is not that difficult to locate the LaBarge spring for water ?
