Most of the Phoenix area hikes are dog friendly. The key is knowing where they aren't allowed, Pinnacle Peak is an example. Go under Regions->Phoenix and then under the list is a map of subregions. I'm looking over older MapSource maps and I'm finding references such as Bixler Tank and Bixler Saddle.
I'm just wondering what Tank and Saddle are referring to in terms of their geographical significance.
