@SuperstitionGuy
Thanks for the response. I saw nobody had posted but was curious if anyone had just neglected to write up a trip report. Sounds like I should give it a few weeks.

Reavis Ranch harvest?
Anyone made the trip out to Reavis Ranch this fall, yet? Curious if the apples have come in yet, or whether they will at all this year.

Incorrect distance measurement
Am I reading this right, that the trail is 16 miles total? From the GPS tracks it looks like 16 miles each way.

I just wish jerks would stop lighting things on fire. Then everyone could enjoy the outdoors even when it is dry.

Re: 2018 Fire Season
I wish there was one unified map that the various forestry agencies all shared access to, and updated their relevant locations. I hate having to search through a stack of maps to find out if an area I am looking at going camping in will be closed or not! I had to scrap plans on a hike weeks after su...

Re: Apache Sitegreaves Backpacking Ideas
One of the spots in question that I came across was https://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=224 that I have been strongly considering for the group that I am bringing in two weeks time. I corresponded with a wonderfully friendly guide over in Alpine, AZ- Wendy Kreuger- who works at a nearby lodge ab...

Re: 2018 Fire Restrictions
@Tough_Boots Indeed you are correct. I need to brush up my map skills, clearly. It also looks like a solid chance of rain during the week of the 4th. I'll keep my eyes peeled on the weather but we may have a winner. Although, I am still more than welcome to suggestions from anyone here for 2-3 day ...

Re: 2018 Fire Restrictions
Alright guys, If a guy were looking for a 20-30 mile hike with at least one water source, where would he go? Was planning Alpine, Steeple Mesa ( https://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=224 ) That's closed. Was then going to do the cabin loop up on the Mogollon. That's closed. Looking to beat the hea...
