i just did a nice 7 hour walk down to hutch's pool and back from the old japanese internment camp (gordon hirabayashi recreation area) plenty water in there and real nice swimming. too far for my friend with the knee problem. anyway, yeah, i don't know why there's so little information on cienega cr...

anyone got any idea what's the best place to go in cienega creek? any areas with a little deeper water? i've only ever gone down there from the parking lot by the train bridges and walked around a little; the water's pretty shallow there, but i'm pretty sure there's better areas.

yeah totally! there's a great jumping spot down the trail that goes around the lake.
