I have secured a ride from Tucson Airport to the trailhead on Sunday afternoon, March 3rd, 2019.
I'm sure there is room if anyone else wants to share--split $50 to the driver, a retired fellow who lives in the Tucson area.

How are you getting to the trail head? I posted my itinerary on this feed - starting March 3 also. If it works out to carpool or shuttle together let me know! Edog

I am flying in to Phoenix on March 3rd. @ 2:00 pm arrival. Looking to carpool to the trailhead. So far, the best plan for me [alone] is to take the airport shuttle to the Tucson Airport, then Lyft from there. The commercial shuttles are pricey--unless shared. Planning to throw my bag down on Arizona...

Thanks for the responses.....makes sense. My wife is from Mexico. She would have ridden her mountain bike up, but she met me on the Colorado River 11 years ago and we lassoed each other into wedded bliss.
