Had to cross over water at least twice when hiking to Reavis Ranch from Rogers Trough trail head. The water was clear and cool on Oct 14th. One of these attached pictures was at the Fire Line Trail crossing and the other a few hundred feet before.

I drove it 3 weeks back in a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and did not have any problems. There a lots of jagged rocks to drive over and a few deep ruts but if you take is slow you should do fine. I did not use 4 wheel drive.
