So is there any reason if the road is not closed, that I can run from north to south stay overnight and then run-hike back. Would my vehicle get towed? Maybe I will just run down the south side and then back up. not a true rim to rim though .

Thanks for the information. I don't want to do rim to rim to rim from the south. That would be a huge chunk to bite off. Might have to postpone till next October. Hey, by then Maybe rim to rim to rim from the north.

I am planning on running fom the North to south rim in the 1st week of November. I am solo so I will want to get back to my vehicle on the north side. Is there any shuttles etc etc. I really don,t want to run back the next day.
