Re: recommendations for multi-day hike in March

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I think Reavis Ranch and Falls sounds like a good three day. Hopefully the waterfall is going good then. I think my friends would enjoy that. And thanks for the camping spots suggestion, jd.

recommendations for multi-day hike in March

Hello all-

Missed out on a Grand Canyon permit for the week of March 14, so I'm hoping for some suggestions on a multi-day hike to do in Arizona. My friends are coming in from Wisconsin, so they'd prefer to avoid snow camping. :)

Any suggestions on good ones for mid-March?

Thanks Wiz, Daryl and Matt. The Superstitions definitely seem to be the logical choice considering their close proximity and the fact that I have yet to hike in that area. I haven't decided yet on any of the locations you all recommended, but they are much appreciated!

Camping/hiking location recommendations...

Hello all,

I was hoping some of you might be able to recommend some spots for an overnight hike that I plan on doing post-Turkey Day weekend. I'm looking for areas within about an hour's drive or so from the Phoenix area. Thanks.

My post here is inconsequential in regards to the subject of this thread for I have only read the last two pages and have not involved myself in the conversation, but the post preceding mine has left me with a thought or two to put into words. It seems the "overblown" subject has been some...

Re: Anyone here a Peacemakers fan?

I saw Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers in Mexico recently. Great show. Bryan It figures that this would be my first post on HAZ. Did I read that they were allowing all ages into the show? I got to see one of their Mexico shows a few years ago and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. It's ...
