Calling all HAZ hikers who may have an opportunity to combine some backcountry hiking with the search for a missing loved one:
Akuma is a 14 year old black lab who was camping with family near Happy Jack, AZ. He heard gunshots and ran off, and is lost in the woods. His family is completely devastated and heartbroken, but Mark Happe's "Animal Search and Rescue" team (same team that rescued Ily in 2013) has taken on their cause.
An organized search has been prepped by Mark, who is seeking backcountry hikers, 4x4 drivers and/or quad drivers to join, this Saturday or Sunday or both. Not sure if this link will work but here's the FB link, or else just PM me or respond in this thread:
