I think anyone who was legitimately attacked by a jaguar would have reported it first-- not skinned it.

As I understand it, the jaguar was killed in Mexico. The species is "protected" there, however there are vastly different cultural, economic and ethical issues with regards to the killing of predators in Mexico. I am greatly saddened by this. Killing of a predator is unnatural, and disruptive of the natural order of life.
