id like to invite some of the haz folks on a backpack trip im leading this coming w/e. it is thru the fun backpacking club ABC (arizona backpacking club) and i would like to get some of the haz'zers out on a good fun trip, that is rated easy/moderate, good for dogs, and beginners too. you dont have to feel obligated to join abc or anything, but it is a nice way to let the haz crowd meet some of the abc crowd, many of which are the same crowd...
i'll have 5 abc ppl going so there is room for a bunch more, the campsite area is good for 12-15 campers max.
this is an overnight backpack for the weekend of april 17-18th

Re: tony ranch via haunted canyon
if you bail on charlebois, you can join us. besides, we may need a good vehicle like your 4runner.
so far it is Scott*, Kristina* his fiance, Sarae*, Nonot, Allison, me*. that's 4 hangers*, and 5 if you show.
we're gonna meet at the Los Hermanos restaraunt/ rest area in Superior at 8:45 Saturday.
i'll be car camping at Oak Flats just east of town Friday night, if that appeals to you. youre welcome to join us.

Re: tony ranch via haunted canyon
Tyler and I would join you at Oak Flats, but Tyler is a TOOL and he is going to leave me locked in my kennel while he goes out with that lady. You know, that lady that Tyler spends time with instead of me...I will get even one of these days. If I could open my kennel I would steal Tyler's truck and come out to Oak Flats...I don't mind sleeping under your hammock.
If I can't get the truck to work (I don't have thumbs after all) I will see you on Saturday. Don't tell Tyler I posted this.

I go wherever Dirt4Dinner goes...sometimes not willingly. ESPECIALLY when there is catclaw low to the trail. I have to deal with that at home (the real thing actually...stupid cat)...I don't need it on the trail!

Re: tony ranch via haunted canyon
dang man... obviously i would, but i work 11-2 on saturdays, my boss has done me a favor of giving me fridays off so i can screw around at casa grande, so i really cant call in sick for this one after she's done me a huge favor. I might just be soloing out at Charlebois, that or road cruising since herping season just began!
