I am a new member anxious to contribute. I use an ap called Everytrail on my I-phone to track my hikes and take photos. It allows me tto download to Facebook. There is also a web site http://www.everytrail.com
Does anyone know if and/or how I can download the data directly to Hike Arizona?

Re: Download from Everytrail
There may be copyright issues, plus HAZ doesn't deal well with more than one track, and/or waypoints embedded in tracks, unless joe has been doing work on that.

Re: iPhone to HAZ
Crzy4AZ somehow uses evertrail on her iPhone then posts on HAZ. She'll probably login in the next day or two, maybe she can explain more?

Sorry, I can't develop for it cause I don't have an iPhone. Someday!

Re: iPhone to HAZ
It's pretty easy.
Once you are logged into Everytail - Click on "my trips"
Then select the hike you want from your list
Scroll down and look on the right side "Export this trip"
Click on "Download GPX for your GPS"
Then a file with .gpx will be saved somewhere on your computer.
Then you use HAZ on front page click on "post GPS Route" and then select the .gpx file (usually named some 5 digit number)
Hope that helps!
I use a Mac but I figure it's about the same thing on a PC.
