Get the Tails on the Trails is a dog friendly hike that starts at the Lost Dutchman State Park on March 12. The hike benefits the park and the Panacea Wellness Village. At Panacea, we rehabilitate ill/injured animals and train them to assist the disabled. Part of what we do to is teach about the healing powers that animals have and how we can learn from activities involving them, such as hiking. We are looking for hiking enthusiasts who can join us on March 12. Three hikes are planned beginning at 9AM, 10AM, and 11AM. The hikes are being led by park experts and local outfitters. There will be a GPS demo on the 11AM hike and at the base camp. There is a camp side lunch served and more. See you on the trail!
Of other mention: This hike is the first in a series that we hope to organize to help the Lost Dutchman Park stay viable. The LDSP was scheduled to close this summer, projects like this have saved it.

That sounds like a worthy cause!
