Looking for my 100th HAZ hiking partner

Post by BobP »

About 67,219,200 seconds ago....I joined HAZ. As I type, the seconds will turn to minutes and...NEways during that time, I've hiked with 39 registered HAZ members. PM if you want to hike this Friday and be number 40 or if you've already hiked with me and "still" want to do a hike. I hear the wildflowers are nice in the McDowells now.

Ahhh, you got me Bob! I went back and looked....Out of 87 "Partners" , I have actually Hiked with....60..... :sl: A couple of HAZfests, a couple of other get togethers over a Campfire amounted to 27 that I just "met" but didn't actually Hike with....And I know it's not the Cookies, it's about Liquid Refreshment, especially on a great Peak!!! I'm not a big Champagne Drinker, but man, it sure goes down smooth at the Top! The Cookies and Strawberries are just a Bonus!!! What I want to know is why Flat Denny doesn't have his own Avatar on here...That would bring my "Hiking" Count to 61! :sl:

This begs the question: How many people actually hike "with Bob" or do you merely see him for a minute at the beginning and again at the end of a hike? :STP:

I know, I debated that when I added him as it was maybe 10 minutes that HE actually hiked with me. But it was a memorable 10 minutes
For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.

I'm now 5 partners away from 100. :y: I think I'll post a growler event sometime soon in hopes on attaining my 2014 goal.

On a sidenote...Flat Denny was last seen several months ago disguised as Harry Potter. Anybody with information on his las known whereabouts please let me know...

JoeyB added something cool....it now shows how many hikes you've hiked with all your partners...Denny is my top hiking partner with 68 hikes and JoeyB is second with 65 and Wally is 3rd with 40. Lots of (1)'s :-k

If I was smart enough to do math, I think I would feel slighted.

Luckily I like drinking the yellow fizzy water, barking at motorcycles, and knocking down old ladies in the street. And rawhide. I like rawhide too.

So what you're saying is that at the end of a hike when the partner puts one of his/her fingers on each hand up...they weren't saying I'm number 1. :o
