Glad to here you had a great time. Maybe I won't be doing this one in the summer???
Are there any decent camping sites between 2 and 3 for an overnighter?

If you don't mind wind you could put a tent up at the saddle between 2 and 3. It wasn't windy when we were there but the mountains would sure funnel any winds through the saddle.

Hey Guys,
I had a great time hiking with you. I don't think we could have had a better group of people. Anytime any of you want to go hiking just PM me. Tom just registered too, he is Levi501. Aaron, great job organizing the "trek". I think we should all get together again and do the "other" four peaks.

What a great adventure, I have to many leg pinstripes to count, but I would do it again in shorts .... or I will do it again in shorts. I had lots of extra clothes with me, but in December, you have to be prepared.
It was truly a great group, a nice change to get an upper body workout while on a hike....
ok.... ok, trek, epic, hike from hell
I will get pictures out tomorrow, I took about 150, too busy taking pictures to notice the 20,50, 100... foot drops
Some spots were tough having a daypack on the back and a camera case in the front, but the pictures are worth it!
I only made all the guys pose a couple of times, most were shots in action.

Thanks to all, sorry I could not stay in the lot for than one refreshment, I had a Holiday party to go to. I did make it to bed by midnight :?

Well, now I'm really pissed. That sounds like a lot of fun - I'm totally bummed I missed it.

Of course - I'm also glad I didn't go. This is the sinus infection from HE**. It would have been the death of me to do that hike in my current condition.

But, hey, I'm glad you guys had fun, and maybe one of you that went on it can do it again in the spring/summer. I still want to do this hike - but I sure as heck ain't gonna' do it by myself!

I too have to say that was the most intense hike I have ever been on and the scariest. I think the worst part was when that rock came hurling towards me almost took my head off. That would of jacked me up bad. I still sit in shock wondering how it went around me only hitting my finger.
I wont be seeing you all on Peak 2. I have no interest in climbing it now. 3 out of 4 is fine with me. I have a future to concider.
I could not of asked for a better group of people to be with-thanks guys!!!

Ok All, just back from another failed attempt at hitting the peaks. My buddy, after hearing a detail explanation yesterday at what i was going to do today, decided he was up for it and wanted to go. We got to the scree and he said, "F*ck that, i am not going up that, i am scared of hieghts!!". Needless to say i was very unhappy.

The good thing is that i have now done 3 & 1/2 legs of the Amethyst Mine trail in 72 hours. So i got that going for me!

I have the pics from Joe, Aaron, Kenny (the picture king!), Tim and Tom. Anyone else?

I will have these discs done in a couple of minutes but i will be going to Portland tomorrow at 5pm. The only days that work for me next week are Sunday (after four), Monday or Tuesday night. Any of those days work for you all?

If anyone wants the CD before i leave, i can meet you early in the day tomorrow. If not, can someone take the lead and decide on a day and time for Four Peaks Brewery?

Talk with you all later, and have a good and safe holiday.

Thanks for the memories!

Sorry to hear about the setback Brad, but, you'll slay this dragon.

Couldn't imagine a better group of dudes to do a hike with.

Wish we would have had more time to hang out and talk, the day was pretty busy as it were. Maybe at the CD release party at the other four peaks!!!

Again, my many thanks guys.

Brad, If you want to do peak one and Two sometime on a weekend just let me know I would love to go back up there I hate letting the mountains win. I have already told Tim that "WE" will be going back up there to claim peak TWO the only one we haven't been to the top of.
To all the guys who went thanks. you guys are awsome and I would hike anytime with any of you. Tim and I are going to the Grand Canyon this Wednesday I think we have planned out about a 20 mile day hike let us know if you want to come with?

Hey guys ditto on the two other peaks too. I have weekends off so I'm game.

As far as the Cd release/reunion drunkfest lets everyone start throwing dates out that will work for you. Like I said before weekends are good for me.

Once again you guys have been by far the best group that I have hiked with. Anytime any place and I'm in.

I'm still on for the 10th! Steven I'll pick you up an extra disk or just burn you a copy. What are the cross streets of the "other" Four Peaks?
