I was expecting a few bucks, but was pleasantly surprised to see I had built up a $100 dividend! DADDY GOT NEW BOOTS! $125, deduct the 20% for one single item...made them $100, applied my dividend and viola...FREE BOOTS!

Apparently they should have been charging REI prices all along. Then they might still be in business!popular outdoor outfitters

Back in the teens, there were quite a few commenters here that seemed to really enjoy shopping at REI. Kudos to @CannondaleKid for being ahead of the curve that took the rest of the world more than a decade to figure out.
