Hey Everyone!
Registration is open for AZT in a Day 2019, and the date is set for Saturday, October 12th. You can register here:

The goal is the same! On Saturday, October 12, 2019, hundreds of people will gather throughout the state of Arizona for AZT in a Day. Hikers, runners, mountain bikers and equestrians will stage themselves along the Arizona National Scenic Trail (AZT) with the goal to collectively complete its entire length— over 800 miles—in 24 hours. This will be the first time a National Scenic Trail has been completed in this fashion, and the second attempt at a full trail completion on the Arizona Trail.
This year you’ll notice we’ve revamped our AZT in a Day webpage. We hope you like the design. Here are a few other changes you’ll see:
1) Interactive Section Map – We’ve created a new visual resource to help you find and learn more about your chosen section and its endpoints. Click on a section or a section endpoint, to learn a little more:

2) Fundraising – This year we’re offering participants the option to fundraise as part of participating in AZT in a Day. This is an opportunity to give back to the trail and lend your support to the Arizona Trail Association and the programs that uphold our mission. We hope you'll join us! Here’s how it works:
a. Upon signing up for your section, you’ll receive a fundraising page.
b. This page is for you to customize and share with family and friends. You can also use it to track your fitness activity and to create teams with other friends who are participating.
c. Please note that you can change your fundraising goal at any time, and there is no obligation to fundraise. However, please do not delete your fundraising page if you chose not to use it. Deleting the page will also delete your registration for AZT in a Day.
3) Section Changes – This year we’ve made some adjustments. Please take note if you’re trying to sign up for the same section as last year:
o Section 38 has been divided into two sections (38A and 38B).
o Due to access issues, Section 4A is now called Section 4, and former Section 4B and Section 5 have been combined and are now called Section 5.
o UR1 is shorter and goes from Canyon Vista Campground to Route 66.
o Section 66* is now Section 66A and Section 66 is now Section 66B.
Thanks for participating last year. Hopefully we'll see you out there again!
