State legislators in Hawaii are fast-tracking a bill that would authorize the state to seek reimbursement from hikers who need rescue after venturing onto closed trails. But not everyone agrees it’s the right move.

@DbleDutch That makes a little more sense. Not sure why they wouldn't want to leave if it was flooding, unless they expected to be there a week, or something, and even then, it was flooding, but it sounds like someone from outside called, which makes sense as to why they were resistant.
