Rogers Trough Trailhead
Has anyone been up to the Rogers Trough Trailhead lately? We're looking at heading up there in a week or so and I'm wondering about the condition of the road. I have a truck with a lot of ground clearance, but it's only a two-wheel drive. Everything that I read points to the last few miles of the road being a bit tricky. Thanks in advance for any info!

Re: Rogers Trough Trailhead
I wouldn't recommend anyone attempt it in their car. A rental wouldn't be a great idea either - if you don't make it, that will be an expensive tow bill.

The only reason to take a passenger car up that road is if you want the company you work for to replace your current company vehicle

Re: Rogers Trough Trailhead
Planning on heading up there first weekend in March. Heading up to the Ranch. And taking my 4x4.

@kevinweitzel75
Both days or just one??? I might be interested in hitching a ride for the last couple of miles....

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming, "Wow What a Ride!"

@kevinweitzel75 @DBmooner
Will anyone in your groups going to Reavis Ranch this coming weekend have a GPS & a camera?
Re: SuperstitionGuy's 2/16 post here viewtopic.php?p=79572#p79572 Would appreciate if you could try to find this perennial spring source per his post and provide us a GPS coordinate and a couple of pictures and then we can set-up a new "Named place" label (new spring name and location) for future backpacking reference..Thx!

@Grasshopper
Acually, we will be heading up there the first weekend of March. I will bring a camera and a gps to locate that spot. No problem.
