Did anyone watch the History Channel about the Dutchman last night, and where do you think they were? ;)

I miss the days when the History Channel had actual history and educational programming instead of just "reality" shows. :?

If your going to look, then summertime is the best time as long as your acclimated and prepared. Nobody around to see where your looking and I bet you'd be in violation of numerous Federal laws regarding the wilderness act.

I know! I just watched the show for the 'I've hiked there' factor...There is no way that in 100+ years an area that 'relatively' small, it wouldn't have been found by now. I know its not the size of a city park, but its still not THAT large of an area. Think of the likely tens of thousands of man hours that have been put into the search there.

I feel the same way, but then why would they want anyone to get over it when it's a cash cow for many businesses in the area, don'cha know?
Just check out the number of Legend of the Lost Dutchman Mine books, and yes even maps still being sold.

I watched and enjoyed it. Not fond of Frank, but like the rest. Nice fantasyland bs...made more fun with a bottle of wine at the ready. :)

Does anyone else wonder what it would be like to help them discover the true wonders of the Supes and how to enjoy them in a simpler, lower-impact way?

Just finished watching the recorded 2nd installment of the series and not very impressed with the retired detective.... to argumentative for my liking. Don't know about that guy following them though...... It's probably Wally out doing his Wally-thing. :D

when he shot the rattlesnake.
Not a very good idea to televise that part of the show.... just means more armed hikers out there. ](*,)

Why did he do that? Because that's what he thinks a real desert rat does to rattlesnakes? Does he have a policy on road signs?
