Not sure if this belongs on a hiking website, since the "ramblers" at issue are described as individuals who "prefer to be able to walk in carpet slippers and dancing shoes rather than wear boots," but I thought this might be of interest to the HAZ crowd.
On the other hand, "RAZ" does have kind of ring to it ...

I now have a new addition for my bucket list ... to roam uninvited (but responsibly as per the law) into David and Jenny Kime's home and after making myself a sandwich from items in their fridge have a nice nap on their davenport.

I bet that's not what they're wearing in the photo. Trails in Scotland generally aren't too rocky, but there's plenty of mud and rough ground on the hill climbs. I expect this is getting a lot of attention, since hiking is not only important as local recreation in Scotland, but also as part of the tourist industry on which many rural areas increasingly rely.

You're correct. In another photo you can clearly see he's wearing nice climbing boots to climb over the locked 7' gate. ;-)
