Brown's Peak, AZ :: Question by wesleyweidig

Hi, new member here. I will be hiking Brown's peak in the Four Peaks mountain range soon and am wondering if there is a map that shows how to ascend from the backside of the peak? I have hiked to the peak twice before through the scramble that most everyone takes, however I have seen people talk about ascending from the back by turning off East somewhere at the saddle. If anyone has any info on this or a map I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

For one of the options, go to this hike description: Brown's Peak Loop via Alder Saddle
On that page, scroll down the right side and you will find the Official Route

Another option can be found here:
Four Peaks Mother Lode
It is the first part of a 'Mother Lode' hike (hiking to all four peaks) but once at the summit of Brown's, you can of course descend the chute you ascended in the past.
