Humphreys Peak Tomorrow 8/28

I am thinking about doing this hike tomorrow.
Forecast looks great: Friday: Sunny, with a high near 61. Northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Just checking if anyone would be interested.
Thinking about leave Chandler about 5:00 AM and be back for dinner.

It was a great hike.
I left Chandler about 4 AM and was at the trail at 7AM…
I was on the top at 9:30 and there was no one there but me. I was on the top of the world ( Arizona anyways) : king :
It’s a strenuous hike especially the last mile or so…
The weather was sunny and cool. My car showed 43F on the way to Flagstaff

Hey, I was up there today (sat) was pretty crowded up top, and chilly too. Also checked out the B-24 crash site on the way back down. Several Engine parts with the valves still intact and cowlings as well. Was worth the short side trip.

….. I did not know about this plane crash site.
Where exactly is it? I will have to do this trip again.
