Have you ever bought a blind man a beer?
Well here is your chance. Just make a donation to http://blindmotivation.com/donations/ in lieu of really buying him a beer.
Mike mostly likes ale which ranges in price from $1 to $10(if you buy it at most AZ sporting events).
I'll be bringing the guys beer this weekend to celebrate being more than half way done with the AZT.
They are raising money for the Foundation for Blind Children.
Remember to pm me (rlrjamy) any amounts donated....we are up to $325 so far.
Don't forget to tip your bartender Joe....on the main page of HAZ scroll to the bottom click on Extra then under the General you will find a donate button.

Re: Beer donations
I once drank 3 "Ten fidy" beers and damn near went blind myself. Guess one or two of those cant hurt the guy..
stop by my casa on the way up and i'll donate to the cause. i can do something local too, like the newly canned "Hop Knot" IPA from Four Peaks. I'll be getting some for myself this Saturday when it hits the shelves.

Re: Beer donations and GPS 60csx for Sale
Used once Garmin 60sx....just be the first to make a $250 donation to Foundation for Blind Children and its yours along with 1 gig card. I will personally deliver it and will take you on a hike to teach you how to use it. PM me if interested....first pm has priority and an hour to make the donation which qualifies for an AZ tax credit of up to $200 single and $400 married. So if you make a $250 donation and your single and itemize you get $200 credit on your taxes and a Garmin and if your married and itemize you get the full $250 credit on your taxes and a Garmin. But more importantly, you get to help blind children and help sponsor passage 23 for GpsJoe.

Re: Beer donations and GPS for Sale
Passage Sponsorship: $1,000
As there are 43 Passages on the Arizona Trail we are attempting to raise $1,000 for each passage. You/Your company will be listed on our Sponsors list next to the passage you are Sponsoring. This will provide 1 Blind student a chance to attend the FBC’s summer camp program.....this comes from Mike's website.
We are almost half way there
....lets get HikeArizona.com listed next to Passage 23 (Dedicated to GpsJoe)...each $5 donation decreases the amount by a 1/2 of one percent.
And if you buy the GPS...it decreases the amount by 25%.....
Another way to help is by eating pizza May 24th http://www.seeitourway.org/Development/ ... KFlyer.pdf
I'm working with another non-hiking organization to get another passage sponsorship...
