Walkmore trailhead

Post by krispykritter »

I was driving on fr 64 (I think) in payson today and came across the trailhead parking area. I thought I would come home and find out more info on the trail but I cant find anything. Has anyone been hiking on this trail.

Try Walk Moore, you'll have more luck.

Folks that have been in Arizona awhile will remember the 'Dude Fire' (1990). Six wildland firefighters lost their lives in Walk Moore canyon while fighting that fire. If you hike that area you will encounter crosses erected in their memory.
