I don't think this is a good thing

I know potash is cool and all that, but just imagine the ramifications if this thing spilled into the Colorado River. Perhaps potash isn't that dangerous.

I am more concerned about the Hanford site in the NW, than what is basically a salt mine. The mineral is probably nothing like phosphorus or Nitrogen, in terms of altering water fertility if it got into the river in any large quantity, but the salt part concerns me. However, I have no knowledge if that would be an issue the way sodium salts are, in the water.

Every time you get into your car, do you "imagine the ramifications if this thing hits a brick wall going 75mph"? Just sayin, life is always a trade-off of risks and rewards, and it seems too short to spend lots of time worrying about all the "what ifs".
