With the new Independence Day trailer hitting the webwaves recently, this has become a topic of discussion as many would nominate Bill Pullman as President Whitmore who gave a rousing speech before kicking some alien butt.

Others pick a small-screen choice with Martin Sheen's Josiah Bartlett from West Wing.
