Looking into a second floor room built by walling off a platform sitting ~4' above the ground level. The holes running in a horizontal line across the wall used to hold beams and/or floor joists. The Salado building style showed use of primary, secondary, beam supports that then held a tertiary flooring material. Occasionally that tertiary material was then covered again with rock and/or mud or dirt. The second floor room shows heavy soot buildup on the walls and ceiling.
