RIDGELINE TRAIL. As the name suggests, this trail will take you to the highest point on the mountain, reaching 2,050 ft. The panoramic views include Ludden Mountain Preserve to the southwest, a view to the west of Deem Hills Park, and a view north of the Central Arizona Project.
Distance: 1.5 miles Elevation Change: 353 L.
DEEM HILLS EAST TRAILHEAD
This quiet and remote trail takes you out of the big city and into the local surrounding mountains. Enjoy the great views while experiencing the abundance of plant and animal life, such as the towering saguaros and giant volcanic rocks.
This trail is popular for hikers and runners with areas of challenging rocky terrain that connect to other trails in the area.
Distance: 1.5 miles Elevation Change: 395 ft.
CIRCUMFERENCE TRAIL is the longest in the Deem Hills Preserve providing views of the Phoenix area from all sides including Hedgepeth Hills to the south, Hieroglyphics and Bradshaw mountains to the north, and the Central Arizona Project
The trail is very diverse in terrain from flat sections to gradual or steep rocky sections. It will take you around the entire Deem Hills Mountain providing a great hiking experience.
