The fish isn't giving up on the fight and although I didn't get it, the fish lives to fight another day. 3 seconds after this photo, the Osprey dropped it. There may have been an additional reason, as up above, 2 Bald Eagles appeared and started to swoop down on the Osprey. Just takes one moment of distraction and an unwilling victim and the Osprey loses out.
