Overlooking the meadow of flowers above Siyeh Creek.
Siyeh Creek is unique in Glacier National Park for its stromatolite fossils, remnants of 1.5-billion-year-old cyanobacteria, which are rare geological features along the associated Siyeh Pass Trail. The area also features stunning scenery, including the red rocks of the Boulder Creek Valley, waterfalls cascading into blue-green pools, and multiple glaciers in one area, such as Sexton Glacier and Piegan Glacier.
