Part 2 of our wildflowers for the day... there were more flowers and trees etc but these are the ones that turned out the best:
Top - Subalpine Fir (Abies lasiocarpa). GL wants to call them Korean Firs. These cones are a dark purple color and are a distinguishing characteristic of the tree, which also features a slender, spire-like form with dense branches.
LL - Oceanspray
LR - because the flowers were drenched, I can only guess some sort of Penstemon.
